The purpose of the high table was to provide an opportunity for students to speak English with English teachers and their schoolmates in a relax atmosphere during lunch time.  Students were invited to join this activity at lunch time and gather around a table of snacks and finger foods and chat with teachers and schoolmates about various topics such as school life and family life.  Many students came to speak English with the teachers and they enjoyed this sociable activity!
